Dongle - New Install Issue [Solved]

Hello:

I am trying to get TVP to work on my new computer.

New computer's specifications are: Windows 7, Intel Core i7 chip 870@2.93 Ghz, 16 Gig of RAM, 64 bit.

I have TV Paint Pro 8.5 and I still like it a lot.

I have installed TVP 8.5 Pro on the new computer.
I have plugged the dongle into a USB port.
TV Paint installed a shortcut on the desktop.
I click on the shortcut, and TV Paint opens, but I get a message that reads "The TVP Animation dongle is not present on USB port. Re-plug your dongle and click on OK
to continue using TVP Animation."

I take the dongle out, and plug it in again.
I get a message from Windows "Device driver not successfully installed."
I click OK on TVP Animation and TV Paint shuts down.

What should I do?

Merci beaucoup, Chris

If you like, I can send you my lock and unlock codes.

upon installing tvp offers the option to instal the sentinel drivers.

i looks like you don't have them installed now

Thanks for the suggestion Peter. I located the Sentinel drivers, and installed them.

But after installing the drivers, TVP is still not opening, and I am getting the same "Device driver not successfully installed" message.

Device driver not successfully installed
Do you have this error message in a TVPaint window ?

Fabrice:

Thanks for writing. It turns out Peter was right. I had a Sentinel driver installed, but not the most recent driver,

I installed the latest Sentinel driver. TV Paint is now working just fine.

THANKS!
