Slight "Layer->Go Right" Lag on Mac Version

Hello,

I use the mousewheel mapped to Layer > Go Right/Left to preview several frames of animation while drawing, rolling it constantly as I draw.
I use TVP on a 2010 iMac (i7) and a 2006 Windows tabletPC (core 2 duo 2gHz) , and using the same mousewheel, and same size document, the layer->go right shortcut is performed much more quickly on the Windows tabletPC. I thought it may have something to do with a redraw bottleneck, but then I tested by dragging the playhead left and right, and it's perfectly instantaneous on both systems. Is this a known issue? I know it seems like a tiny issue, but it affects my ability to preview the timing of the animation by rolling the mousewheel.

Which version of TVP are you using ?

Both machines are running the most recent update of TVP Pro. (10.0.11)

just a thought ... are there settings for the mouse wheel sensibility at the mouse driver on your mac? I think you can adjust how fast a mousewheel can scroll down in documents or on webpages. Maybe your mousewheel is set to a value for slow scrolling and maybe this also effects TVPaint. I am not working on a mac, but on windows there are those mouse settings.

Thanks for the suggestion, Animark, but the arrow keypress itself is noticeably slower on the iMac, too. If I rapidfire press the right arrow, I can perceive a delay between pressing the key and seeing the playhead move. Based on my experience with MIDI latency, I would estimate it is about 30-50 milliseconds.

Bug confirmed on TVPaint 64 bit 10.0.17 / Mac 10.8.3
