Help! I can't open TVPaint trial version!

For some reason I can't seem to open or save TVPAint pro trial version! My computer doesn't recognize the file type and it prompts me to either find solution online or use an existing application. Also, I have Norton Antivirus installed and it says the file could be dangerous because few people have downloaded this file, so could it have something to do with this? I try to tell Norton to 'trust this file' but i think it tries to get rid of it anyway... I'm just not sure wherein the problem lies... Anyone else experienced this?

Your download protection is too strong. Disable it for the download and then enable it after you have TVP trial installed. This has happened to others. It happens to me when there is an upgrade of Sony Vegas too.
