importing a movieclip for rotoscoping

Post by bagilla »

Hi there,

Im using tvpaint 9,5 standard on a mac 10.7.2 and Im trying to import a mov. into tvpaint as seperate images. so i can use these images for some rotoscoping.
when the import footage screen appears...there are more then several options...when I click pproject or clip...tvpaint throws me out.
the rest of the options don't...but none of them give me a glimps of any image from that clip. I can see something loaded in the pprojectlayer...but nothing on the screen.
for the rest I searched the manual and the internet and on tutorials... nothing on settings or which type of file i can or can't import... or do you need to have tvpaint PRO for this?
thanx

Normally everything that you can watch in Quicktime will also be visible in TVP, and it can be imported. Which QT version do you run?
TVP 10.0.18 and 11.0 MacPro Quadcore 3GHz 16GB OS 10.6.8 Quicktime 7.6.6
TVP 11.0 and 11.7 MacPro 12core 3GHz 32GB OS 10.11 Quicktime 10.7.3
TVP 11.7 Mac Mini M2pro 32GB OS 13.5

quicktime 10.1...do you happen to know if there are specific settings I need to use in order to see the .mov as an image sequence?
