[SOLVED] deleting instances

Post by schwarzgrau »

I noticed a strange behaviour when I try to delete instances. So I took a look at the manual and found this:
Deleting the head cell of an instance in the middle of the layer will make its exposure cells be linked to the previous instance.

But if I try the same I only get this

The image got deleted, but the head just moves to the next exposure.
I guess I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

To withdraw the head an keep the good length, you must use Image > Exposure > Remove instance head.

Was is explained differently in the manual ?

Thank you a lot Elodie.

In the manual is only written "delete image" but not as specific as you told it.
