Missing Custom Icons on Bin File

Hi TVP -
So I got my vertical lines named but when I tried to import the bin file from one computer to another and all my custom icons disappeared. Any ideas? Sure to be something simple. I am on a PC Windows 7. I opened up the TVP file both with a saved template and without. This didn't seem to make any difference. The file name was an overwrite so I am not sure if that makes any difference?
Thanks in advance!
Hilary

Only icons disappear or also the brushes ?

(by the way, really nice brushes, I like their rendering on your drawing :D)

Thanks Elodie :D Icons only brushes are there and work as they should. It isn't a huge deal but I am trying to get all my tools coordinated on my three stations.

Hmm, that's strange. Are you using the last update of TVPaint 10 ? It is the 10.0.18.

Hilary,
The best way to transfer the contents of a custom panel (icons, scripts, buttons, etc.) is to pack it all together in a .tvpx file... in fact that is what a .tvpx file was specifically designed for. You can read about the process of creating a tvpx format file for your Custom Panel on page 19-6 of the manual.

It's quite simple to create AND you can update the .tvpx file on your principal computer anytime, then copy it to the other two computers where you can then drag and drop it into the the running TVPaint interface, so all your computers will have exactly the same Panels (icons, scripts, buttons, etc.).

Right click the custom panel and select Export as TVPX...

Just be sure you fill in the "export" form's blanks with the proper info:

Unique Name: this must be different tvpx filename for each unique panel (like one panel that stores brushes and another panel that stores color swatches and other custom panels you may have downloaded from the forum.)

Name: Can be your name or company name or whatever

the Splash screen option: Click on Grab Custom Panel).

Save To - always update the path (and the same unique filename from above) for each different .tvpx file and the path where the file is to be stored. I always generate mine to the George folder because it is easy to find .tvpx files there when sorted by file type.

Thanks Sven - I thought that was probably the case but I didn't know how to use the TVPX. Will give it a go! Cheers :D
