Animal experiments

This is what I've been working on since July, besides some smaller projects ... The german text lists lots of cruelties against animals and why they are completely unnecessary since there are better alternatives for research.
All assets were created in TVPaint, then assembled in AS. The film was planned to be something between 3 and 5 minutes, in the end it was 6 minutes. I've drawn about 750 elements (single images and Quicktime movies, so the total number of drawings is larger), which is not that much for a film of this length. You'll easily notice the re-use of several elements.
The style is that of a children's picture book on purpose, to counter the atrocities described in the text. I'm quite satisfied with the background style, it's something I can do very fast now: just a wide brush and some stencils.
