IMporting a background

Hey Guys!
Im new to TVPAINT so please dont judge haha.
Im trying to import a background that i drew in photoshop (jpg.) and an animation sequence also (jpg.) in the same project (want to put them together) but everytime open one or the other it starts a new project!, i dont know what to do.. please help! :shock: :?

When you open it, you'll get a panel where you have to chose between project and layer. Layer is the one you want.

The user manual , yes, and there are also some video tutorials , like "The Interface of TVPaint" , "How to Animate" , "How to Customize Hotkeys" , etc. on the Tutorials page:

There is also a page with older tutorials made using TVPaint 9 , but apart from some changes in the interface (the way menus are more compacted in TVPaint 10, for example) and some of the terminology used ( "Video Grabber" is now called "Video Input" , etc.) the tutorials that were made using TVPaint 9 are still valid for learning to use TVPaint 10 , so take a look at those tutorials :
