Animated by "Felix Sputnik" (London-based animator Michael Schlingmann ) with TVPaint. This is for a Dutch commercial . (the product: http://www.stripstiq.nl/ )
Comment from his Vimeo page:
...this one done in TVP Animation.
It works exactly like pen, paper, light-box, eraser and a linetester.
I think it's currently the best programme to do drawn animation in, but you need a Tablet or a Cintiq.

Anyway, I know that some parts from this animation were made using the TVPaint technology (that's what guys at Aardman's studio told me in April)
Yes, I'm pretty sure I recognize TVPaint sketch panel pencils in this short scene from the Pirates title sequence (this one wasn't actually used in the final version of the title sequence , but other bits of animation posted on Felix Sputnik's Vimeo page were used in the final title sequence) .

Here's a splendid long interview with Michael Schlingman (aka Felix Sputnik) about a.o. his extensive career. At around 45 minutes he starts taking about TVPaint and why he thinks it surpasses animating on paper. Very worthwhile.
This is the job for channel 4 he talks about. The animation was done in TVP.
Check out the rest of his website because it's fantastic as well.
