calibration off with windows xp

Post by joonasjoonas »

My calibration in tvpa is off about 10 cm. I'm using Cintiq 21ux. Any ideas how to fix this? Calbration is correct in Photoshop, and in Windows.

I've also installed intuos 2 on my laptop. could thee be mix up?
I'm running Windows xP pro.

I'm using my laptop screen as another display. And when I start tvpa, my cursor freezes on laptops screen, cintiq 21 works, but calibration is way off.

Thank's

did you make sure you completely uninstalled any previous tablet drivers before installing the new one?
as well, can you describe more specficially what you mean by "calibration off"? there could be many reasons and symptoms for offsetting the cursor. maybe you can post some screen grabs as well.

it was the old wacom driver

Yes, it was the old wacom driver. I fixed that and TVPA is working correctly again. Only that when I use the "toggle mode" in cintiq (changing pen to a mouse mode) cursor freezes. Not a big problem, but a bit annoying.

Plus my cintiq has green randomly blinking pixels in bitmap images, but that probalby has nothing to do TVPA. I have to start saving for mac.

But the biggest problem got solved now.THanks. (the problem was that where ever I had my pen, the cursor was correctly under the pen, but drawn pencil line appeared 10 cm to the right from the cursor.)

good.

I don't know about green pixels, as I never even used a cintiq. maybe someone of the cintiq guys can help on that.

as for changing pen to mouse, tvpa still does not support the mouse mode of wacom. most users who need a mouse use the serial/usb mouse.
