How do I open a Tiff 6.0 file?

ISeveral of these were sent to me by a client and TVP upon import says: "Tiff 6.0: Unsupported photometric"

I found the answer: good old Directory OPUS made a conversion to JPEG and I directly dragged it into TVPaint's GUI. A must have in this line of work. :D
