Onionskin Problem

I'm brand new to TV Paint and am trying to learn the basics. The issue that I'm running into with using the onion skinning function is that after I've done my in-between frames of a bouncing ball, when I play back the movie, I see all of the onionskin images playing on the test as well, rather than the single ball image. What am I doing wrong?

Hello BruceM

You can deactivate the Light Table on the Timeline during the play. Press on the Yellow button to temporary not see the other drawings.

Hi Clo,

I've tried that, but the ghost images don't go away. I've noticed that the small icon frames in the timeline also show the multiple ball images within each frame, rather than a single ball image. It appears that, by using the onion skinning function, the multiple images that you see while tweening are actually being made permanent to the drawings. Is that possible?

Please can you post a screenshot of the project window + corresponding the timeline (+ the tvpp file if not too big) ?
It would be more easy to understand the problem you are experiencing. :)

It sounds like you didn't draw into empty frames, instead copied the last frame and draw over it. Select one frame, copy it, and paste it into a new layer to check it (switch off any other layers).
