First of all, hello to anyone who might be reading this! Any and all help would be very much appreciated!
My parents just got me TVPaint 10 for my birthday, and when it arrived at our place, it came with a CD and the Sentinel USB Key.
As per the attached instructions, I followed everything to the code. I drag the TVPaint.app to the Applications folder, then I run the Sentinel.pkg and install the drivers with the USB Key unplugged. After all that, I restarted my MBP, plugged the USB Key and launched TVPaint. Currently, it won't load, and it just keeps crashing while showing me the Problem Report. I've tried uninstalling TVPaint (by dragging it into the Trash) and reinstalling it, likewise with the Sentinel drivers, but it still won't work.
Any ideas? I'd really like to get it running so I can work on my thesis already! ; __ ;
Thanks in advance!
Specs:
Mac OSX 10.9.4 (Mavericks) [64 bit]
TVPaint 10.0 Professional (64 bit)

Hi, and welcome to the Forum.
I'm on a Macbook Pro with Mac OS 10.9.4 . I wish I could tell you what's wrong , but I've never encountered a problem with an install of TVP that just won't run at all. Very puzzling. It seems like from what you wrote above you did everything correctly for the install.
I don't know what timezone you are located in , but as of right now it's about 9:15 pm in France , so a TVPaint team member is unlikely to see this until tomorrow morning. (their time) . So be patient if they don't answer until tomorrow. In the meantime if you can copy and paste the Apple Crash Report into a text document and email it to TVPaint they will have that in the morning when they get into the office.

I'm not on Mac, so I can't really help you for your installing issue,
but, if you already got your unlock code, here's what I would do at your place :
download the last release (update) available from this site,
uninstall your previous version, and install the last (download) one.

I've checked the attached link, and now it's asking me for a bunch of things. I have to ask though, where do I find my Lock and Unlock Code? I haven't been able to boot it once, so if it's to be acquired through the software, I might have some problems. ) :

Hello r0an3v3 !
Sorry for the inconvenience, this is a known bug, but it fixed in the latest update.
As you can't boot TVPaint you can't have the lock code, but don't worry, just send us by email (by visiting this page http://www.tvpaint.com/v2/content/artic ... hp?lang=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) the number that is written on your USB-Dongle, we will send you the unlock code as soon as possible

Remember, you have a introduction guide that named "Getting startted.pdf" on your TVPaint Animation installer disc.

You can learn how to find Lock-code and proceed with order your TVPaint Animation license unlock-code : Only your Sentinel USB Key knows the code.

I suggest you some action.
1) Once uninstallation your Safenet Sentinel driver.
2) Remove Ethernet code or Wi-Fi connection with internet, remove any peripheral equipment without mouse/trackpad and keyboard.
Maybe some equipments and driver software get conflict with Sentinel Driver.
3) Reboot your MacBook Pro, keeping press "shift" key (safe boot mode).
Install again Safenet driver and again reboot with press "shift" key
4) Connect your USB key, and check it turn on the green light (means lockcode activation ready).
5) Open your TVPaint Animation.app, connect with internet and continue "Licensing TVPaint Animation".
If the key turn in flash on and off or turn on red light, it might be hardware trouble.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Hello again everyone, and thanks for replying!
Thierry, thanks a bunch for the link. I've sent a form now, so I'll just wait for the reply.
ten_zero, I appreciate the linked FAQ. I've read it (and I actually did go through the built-in PDF manual a bunch of times over and over earlier), and as much as I wish to try reinstalling the Sentinel driver again, I think I'll wait for the reply from the devs first!

Hello again, everyone!
Elodie, yes, everything's fine now!
I've just gotten home from college, and checked on my mail (my internet time is pretty varied due to workload), and I got a reply from the devs regarding the codes. I've downloaded the updated software now (73mb, version 10.5.7 Pro, 64-bits), and I'm happy to report that it now works!
Thanks again to everyone who replied to my post! Now off I go to learning the program itself!
