Custom Brush Color Change Doesn't work

Hello,
Windows 7,
64 bit
TVPaint 10 Professional

Everytime I make a custom brush, it will only allow the strokes to be made in the color it was created in. I have tried both "grab current tool", and "grab current tool with colors" and have gotten the same results:

set your CustomBrush to Alpha Stamp mode,
and "grab current tool" (without colors).
it should make it paint with the current A color instead of its original color(s).

btw, what your tvpa 10.x.x version exactly ?

Because you should update to 10.5.7. It's free and you will have the latest version of TVPaint 10.

mid 2013 !
Since then, much water has flowed under the bridge,
(and a lot of bugs have been fixed in the meantime),
we are in 2015, so an update should be welcome imo ...
