Import Footage panel problem

I'm using tvpaint 11 on windows 8.1 64-bit. Whenever I try to import an image sequence of jpegs. the Import Footage panel won't go away. The images appear to import in the background, but the panel immediately pops up again no matter what I click. The only solution I've found is to open the task manager and quit tvpaint. Also, when I try to import .wmv files, tvpaint just crashes instantly. So far .avi has been the only format that has worked for me.

If you import several images, then it's normal if "import footage panel" pops up everytime.
If you want to load an image séquence... :
Ensure that all images belonging to a sequence share a common base name ending with a sequential number (for example: image01, image02 etc...).
Ensure that the numbering of all images belonging to a sequence are contiguous. (For example, if you are importing a sequence of 3 images with the filenames: image01, image02, image04, then TVPaint Animation will only import up to image02 since image03 does not exist.)
Drag and drop the first file (image01) onto TVPaint Animation. From the import panel, uncheck the "Single Image" checkbox and then click on the "Import" button.
Regardong wmv... *hmm*. This probably the less used and the less useful vidéo file format. Even if it's not supposed to crash, i would advise you to use avi instead.
