Storyboard action notes question

Post by Chris Cormier »

Hi All, I'm "publishing" a storyboard to a pdf, and I'm wondering if there is a way to place action notes for subsequent bookmarked portions of a shot with their respective storyboard panels, rather than having them all listed under the first panel of a particular shot.

This is tricky to explain, but I'll try to go into more detail, in case the above isn't clear. When you're publishing a storyboard, if you want more than one storyboard panel for a particular shot, you add bookmarks at the points where you want more storyboard panels. When writing in the action box, there is only the one action box per shot, so all notes for each storyboard panel within a shot appear under the first storyboard panel of any particular shot. This makes for a bit of a clumsy, jumbled read.

Is there any way to have notes for each panel within a shot appear under their proper, respective storyboard panels?

I'm using TVP 10.5.4 64 Bits.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome !

I understand your request, however there is no options to publish a storyboard with "additional" actions notes when using bookmarks to display more "steps" in your storyboard.

The only solution you have then is to Split the the storyboard to create à new clip (and so, a new action note) :)

Btw, you should update to the last version 10 (which is 10.5.7).
