HDV plugin

Last week I set up a Sony HDV camera. I set the camera to send images as HDV, but tvpaint would take only DV. Is there any plugin available so I could capture 1080i?

For now there is no plug-in for Sony camera. You can only capture image in High Resolution with Canon Camera.
What is your camera model? I will add this feature to the features list.
