I had a lot of questions just after Annecy 2015 about The Red Turtle, the first feature films produced by Ghibli out of Japan.
As explained during the Annecy conference and in various places on the web, The Red Turtle is the next feature film of Michael Dudok de Wit (Father and Daughter, The Monk and the Fish) and all the Animation, Lay-Out, Coloring, ... has been done in TVPaint Animation.
As we won't show anything without autorisations, here are some official animated examples released yesterday on Catsuka:

I had the chance to attend this WIP conference in Annecy and it was awesome. The quality and subtlety of the animation blown my mind.
FYI (according to this conference) : Michael Dudok de Wit made this feature film after being contacted by Ghibli, and this is the first international co-production for Ghibli !
What a pride for us !
The film should be available in theaters in mid-2016, if I remember well.

Congratulations. That must be great for the company name!
It's nice to see that TVPaint is being used more and more in these high quality features.

I'm surprised that the link is not already posted there, so I share it with you ^^

I'm new to this website. did you use TVpaint Animation Pro for the entire graphics? It appears fantastic. I work as a furniture.

Not sure if this is your question.
The Red Turtle movie was animated and colored entirely in TVPaint pro.
(with the obvious exception of the turtle, which was animated in 3D)
the backgrounds were done traditionally on paper.
The final image was composited in some another application,
like maybe Adobe Aftereffects, DaVinci Fusion or Nuke.
