merging layers and keeping exposures? (solved)
merging layers and keeping exposures? (solved)
I have 3 layers that I'd like to merge. Each layer has 15 instances with 3 exposures each. When I merge them into one layer TVP turns the merged layer into 45 instances of 1 exposure. Is there a way for me to keep it as 3 exposures?

Re: merging layers and keeping exposures?
I would think the solution is what Slowtiger and Sven suggested: Merge, then Recompute ... with Handy Custom Panel >Set Exposure > =? ...oellen wrote:I have 3 layers that I'd like to merge. except I can't actually duplicate your problem on my end ... I made a project with 3 layers, 15 instances on each layer at 3 exposures each. When I merge them to one layer I have the merged instances with 3 exposures each.

Re: merging layers and keeping exposures?
Handy Custom Panel seemed to do the trick. Thanks. BTW, where do I find recompute?

Go to Image menu > Exposure > Recompute Exposure .oellen wrote:Handy Custom Panel seemed to do the trick. Thanks.

It's the same as the =? button in the Handy Panel .

How do you merge them? If I merge with the merge menu the exposures is keptoellen wrote:I have 3 layers that I'd like to merge. Each layer has 15 instances with 3 exposures each.
