Little bugs I'm encountering.

I have my workspace set up with the drawing window fitted in nicely amongst the draws, then if I click out of TVP or even open a draw, when I go back to TVP (or close the draw) the drawing window pops out to half it's size vertically. So I have to quadruple click the drawing window bar every time to get the window back in it's space. It's pretty annoying.

Could you send screenshots or something ? And even precise what is your TVPaint version ?

11.0.2

I did try to record it with the tutorial recorder but it doesn't record the cintiq display and the bug only happens in that side. I'll record a video of it on my phone when I start working again in am hour or so.

Here's another thing that I think might be a bug. I pick a colour and fill a background layer with the paintbucket, but I'm not happy with that colour. In this case I go back to the pallet and pick a better colour, go to spill the bucket, so to speak, and the bucket just picks the colour of the background like a colour picker and fills nothing. WEIRD.

How do you pick up a color ? Are you using the shortcut [ ; ] ?

I'm picking the colour straight from the pallet on the left. The wheel is my preference but it seems to do it on the others too.

Is there some quotation mark near your cursor before you click to spill the colour on your BG ?

Nope, it's just the normal cursor crosshair.

Ok, so I have no idea what's going on. Can you record the behaviour(with a camera or a screen capture) ?

I certainly can. I'll do that this morning.

I also have another bug. I have the 'f' key set for manual flip, imaginative, I know. It works fine in room one, but in room 2 it doesn't work at all.

I don't think it's a bug. You can configure the shortcuts separately for each room, but there's also a way to quickly copy the configuration from one room to another with a couple of clicks that I don't remember unfortunately. This has been brought up here not too long ago though, you shouldn't have trouble to find the thread.

I had a similar problem but with different software and Windows 7 awhile back (the window issue), not Mac though. It was a bad Wacom driver with the Cintiq display toggle feature when it remaps the stylus back and forth. How about trying this?

1. Open TVP on your Cintiq, with a mouse click anywhere on your secondary display which will push TVP to the background (don't use display toggle), now take your stylus and click on TVP on the Cintiq. Does it still happen? Also try...

2. Toggle the display like you did in the video and tap on the desktop on your secondary display using your stylus to push TVP to the background, toggle display back to Cintiq but this time don't click on TVP, instead press cmd+tab to launch the application switcher and select TVP from the menu to bring it to the front. Does it still happen? Also try use cmd+~ instead to launch the window switcher and select TVP. Also try...

3. Clicking on TVP in the taskbar/dock instead of the window to bring it to the front.

I didn't realise different rooms had different shortcuts. I'll load mine into all the rooms then.

Here's the video of the bucket fill. So I pick a colour, spill it. Then I go to change the colour to spill over the red and it just colour picks the red. Is it meant to do that or am I just too used to Adobe and toonboom?
