Quick question about student discount

To be clear, is the student discount for TvPaint 11 pro for students that attend ANY school? Or is it exclusive to certain animation-based schools?
I go to Seattle Pacific University (not an animation school). When I went to the purchase page on the tvpaint website, I noticed a box asking me the "special edu code." Is that just my student ID number?
And also, it is asking for a copy of my student ID card. Do I just take a photo of it and send it through email? And I looked at my card, and there is no expiration date. For some reason, my school doesn't do that for our cards.
