Camera view

When I work on a scene which is larger than the output format size, because I will do a camera move, I have the camera set to a smaller area. So in doing so, the area outside of the camera is darkened. Is there a way to turn that off so that I can see the whole image without this dark area?

There are two ways:
1. Search the "Display Settings"-Panel and switch of the Camera. This doen't mean, that the camera will be deleted. It is just to make the camera invisible in the UI.
2. Search the "Display Settings"-Panel and set the Passepartout to 0%. You will see the camera furthermore, but only as a thin lined rectangular.

Excellent! Thank you. I forgot about that panel. For some reason, I expected to find these things either in prefs or on the view menu. The Passepartout option is now called Viewfinder, which is a little more comprehensible to me.
