Hi there,

I'm having some issues upon trying to open TVPaint. I get a popup telling me that a qtcf.dll is missing from my computer. I've tried reinstalling TVPaint as the error suggests but it still does not work. Googling results in suggestions to download certain programs to fix the issue, but I'm uncertain about whether they will work or not. How should I go about fixing this? I've attached a link to an image of the error for reference. Thanks for taking the time to check out my post.

I would just try to download the missing .dll and replace (search on your system hd for it) the old one with the new one. If that not works there could be some broken registry-settings connected to the .dll. There will be answers on the Internet, but if this is to tricky for you, it's maybe an easier way to repair your windows. Please take my proposals without guarantee - if you're not firm with this special windows operations you could make some damage.

I ended up solving this issue on my own... laughs. I had been Googling this issue and turns out a lot of the results were related to Quicktime or some other programs. I deleted the Quicktime 7 which I had recently installed, which fixed the issue. Not sure if it will happen again if i decide to reinstall Quicktime but its a fix.
