Mac System File requester is lagging terribly in TVP11

TVP11 native MAC OS file requester is lagging very badly in TVPaint 11. The built in TVP requester works good, so I had to switch to it...
I'm on OS Yosemite

Sorry to read that you are experiencing a bad lag with TVPaint 11 under Yosemite .
To help the developers to track down and fix the bug I am simply noting here that with TVPaint 11 running on Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks I do
NOT experience any lag with the native Mac OS file requester.

I will try when I'm on my mac next time - do you know if Mac has a built in screen recorder?

That's MAGIC! As I opened Quicktime and started recording, it suddenly started working fine!!!
Now I think that it was on my side - I have restarted the MAC a couple of days ago - when I'm on a Mac, I forget that I also need to restart sometimes

And here it happens again. Freshly restarted, but yet - the file requester lagging like hell... Seems to happen pretty randomly.

Check the sleep settings for your harddrives. As mine are set to sleep when not used for several minutes, opening anything after that time needs some sweet 20 sec, no matter from which program.

Not that for sure - it's in the middle of work, besides - all other apps work fine - it's just in TVPaint. And it goes on - once it happens, it wouldn't change until I restart, and even that not always works (I wouldn't expect much from a restart - it's a Mac after all - rarely needs a restart...)

Just a heads up - this issue didn't go away, restarting won't help any more...

Well, as you know : if nobody can reproduce your trouble, we cannot fix it :/
