I have merged the both topics (Thanks Zig, I thought there was a bug in the matrix, with that taste of "deja-vu"

Please Debra, send a screenshot of your complete interface. Slowtiger already told you how to proceed with : press CMD + SHIFT + 3

Debra, what you talking about ? You are using TVPaint Animation 10, not TVPaint Aniamtion 9. =)

I never said 9 ....
I have never used it . The post says 10.0.02

hi Debra, there should be "screenshot" written on a key of your keyboard.
Once you have used that key, you can use the
edition > clipboard > make new layer from clipboard option in TVPaint.
Then the only thing you have to do is to export the image.

I was confused too -- here is what you said:
