Yes @schwarzgrau. I copied the actions in your video and exactly the same thing happens to me.

That's some kind of good news. Thank you for your feedback Joanna.
I'm not searching for THE exact situation it appears Simone, just for a situation it appears, so the developers can reproduce it and hopefully find the reason. To me it seems also pretty unpredictable, but at least when I'm doing the actions I mentioned it always occurs.

Yes shwarzgrau, I meant that in my experience, replicating the actions you were doing doesn't always make the problem occur. I can't say if the problem ever happened to me even if I don't touch with the tip of the pen outside of tvp but i'll try to pay attention to that. I would surely say that it happens mostly when I touch with the tip of the pen outside of tvp by the way.

Sometimes it also happens if I activate another window without using the pen (using a shortcut) pressing a button in this other active window and then using another shortcut to activating TVpaint again.
Have you tried reproducing this issue Elodie ?

I did not have the time, sorry : most of the crew is out to give trainings and so the amount of work to do in the office is high.

No luck : I did several attempts again. Still no issues... =/
11.0.3 will be available soon. Maybe it will help... I will also ask again Thierry to proceed with deep tests on Mac and Windows, since he has several OS installed (but since he is on holidays, you must wait for his return next week).
Just a question : none of you are using El Capitan, right ?

Unfortunately this problem persists on 11.0.3

Fear not @Schwarzgrau Elodie is visiting our studio next month ( yes it feels like a Royal visit!), so I will give her a little demonstration of what is exactly happening. I will prove that we are not crazy people making up stories

Actually that is not true - all animators are crazy people that make up stories! It is our job!

Any news on this? Could you reproduce this issue?

Still not, the issue is too random to be fixed... anyway, it's still in our to do list.

update :
It is not a Mac only problem, it happened also on a Windows 7 computer at my home. Impossible to reproduce it though.
I tried one hour long to go back and forth from TVPaint to some other third party software to reproduce it ... without success.
So we keep searching. Maybe it's linked to Wacom drivers too.

Yea, I had the same problem (or a really similar one?) on Windows 10 too. Unfortunately I'm so used to flip my pen, if the problem occurs (cause it occurs A LOT), that I'm not able to watch the reason anymore.
A lot of the times I switch to DJV or Quicktime X for reference footage (using a shortcut), then going back and forth a few frames and switching back to TVPaint (with a second shortcut). I don't know if this has something to do with video players or if this is just some coincidence, but it seems this hasn't something to do with the cursor, more something like the active window (which you maybe already know)
