That's the main issue for us : finding a way to reproduce it predictably (for instance we had an intern from Gobelins animating during two weeks : no problem at all on his computer)
I will run some other test soon with the third party software you mentionned.

Roselle2 wrote me a private message concerning this issue:
She's using windows and has the same problem. She deleted the Config.ini file from her USER/roaming/TVPaint11/Tvpaint folder, what reseted all her brushes, but seems to fix this issue.
Since I'm using OS X I can't try it, but maybe you could use it as a start?

Finder > Go > hold Alt to display Library > Library > TVPaint Animation 11 [pro] > Default > Config.ini

I deleted my Config.ini and after that I changed my settings back to my configuration. The problem persists. Maybe if you delete the config and stay with the default-setup it will work, but I can't work this way.
