I'm not sure that is what he's looking for, in case I misunderstand. It took me a few views to understand what is going on here, but that dark bar across the top of the layer isn't extending/contracting to the amount of frames of the longest layer until he collapses/expands the folder.Peter Wassink wrote: ↑16 Jun 2024, 12:51 if you want to move a folder along the timeline you also need to unfold it first
This is only a GUI issue, I am talking about the feint indicator of the exposure length that appears on the folder timeline viewPeter Wassink wrote: ↑16 Jun 2024, 12:51 if you want to move a folder along the timeline you also need to unfold it first
Oh wow upon reading your message earlier I totally interpreted it wrong. You also made a good usability observation as well.Peter Wassink wrote: ↑18 Jun 2024, 09:48 i agree with your observation and was merely pointing another issue with the new layer folders.
In the hopes the team will take a good look at it.
Bug confirmed on our side, devs are on it. Thank you for this feedback ! [TVPA-3634]
This is indeed pretty annoying, we will talk about it with our devs. [TVPA-3635]Peter Wassink wrote: ↑16 Jun 2024, 12:51 if you want to move a folder along the timeline you also need to unfold it first
After some discussion with one of our devs, they will look what can be done. Thank you for this suggestion ! [TVPA-3636]Peter Wassink wrote: ↑19 Jun 2024, 13:39 I'd like to gather some more support for this.
In my opinion the folders will only become a truly powerful improvement if they can be easily dragged around (i.e. have a 'physical' UI layer) which also has pre/post behaviour.
So i like your contributions and suggestions regarding this topic.
