toggle marks or yellow stripes under drawing window

Does anybody know how to disable the toggle Marks (yellow line under the drawing window)
they prohibit me to draw

I think the line is the one just below and in between the 'Markin' and 'Markout". Not sure how that would keep someone from drawing.

I think he means that yellow line :

In fact, that yellow line shows you the current image. As you only have 1 image, all the line becomes yellow. But if you add several images :

Only the current image will be yellow and so, the "yellow bar" will be thiner =)

if it's what Elodie pointed in its interpretation, you can use the Toggle UI Visibility command,
the little black triangle in the preview window's top bar, and use shortkeys for reaching/using the hidden commands.
