Is there a flipbook shortcut key?

Hello!

Is it possible to set a keyboard shortcut for flipbook?

To have a key pressed and maybe click and drag the cursor as you normally do by pressing the flipbook icon? I find the icon too small for me and keep missing it and also would like to be able to flip without moving my eyes from the drawing.

Or maybe to be able to assign it on the wacom touch strip(i have allready assigned it to go left and right one frame on the timeline but find it a bit hard to control)

I would like to simulate as much as possible the traditional way of having a few papers between my fingers while drawing.

Don't get me wrong, i love the flipbook feature as it is allready :)

Thanks for any advice or tip!

I searched this shortkey a few minutes ago and it was pretty hard to find. I remembered that there was a button with the same function if I switch from fullscreen to windowed. But this button is called flipbook. Since I didn't found "flipbook" in the shortcuts I had to search the forum.
Maybe the shortcut and the button should share the same name.

brunesku, are you using TVPaint Animation 9, 10 or 11 ?

There are a lot of improvements in the v11 regarding the flipping (especially the option "manual flipping")

If i'm correct, the shortcut does'nt exist in tvpaint 11 anymore. And for slow computer it was kind of faster than the actual flip panel.

no : "basic flip" in v11 has the same speed than flip in the v9 or v10 (because same code behind), you can even set the speed.

Sorry I still don't get it. What do I have to do if I want to set up a shortcut for stylus flipping?

I'm using 11.0.2, as written in my signature. I guess brunesku already has an answer, since his post is from January.

Wow I ran over the flip-panel when it was new, but didn't notice HOW precise you can adjust your Flips. Thank you a lot Fabrice.

Hi! im using tvpaint 11.0.9

and i wanna know if there is any way to set the flipbook this way: by pressing a key, plays automaticly (at the frame rate on the remote control) 15 frames (aprox) pre and post the frame where i stand.

the "flip basic" do a ping pong, and i just want to be a loop play.

i can use the mark in and mark out. but it would be much faster and useful to me if the flip key work that way.

thanks!
