"TVPaint closed unexpectedly"

I own a Mac and for some reason, if I quit by myself (like close the program after I'm done) or at random, I will get the message "tvpaint has closed unexpectedly." Is it just me or is this happening to anyone else?

Happens to me sometimes. No big deal, happens with other programs as well.

Happens to me regularly as well. I haven't made mention of it because it never made me lose any files. The last file always opened just fine.
But if it's a bug, it ought to perhaps be looked at?

I think it might be a bug because if i make room adjustments, hit close, then reopen, it goes to how it was before I changed the room

If you upgraded your MAc from an older Mac OS, it may be the problem : I ha terrible issues after upgrading to Capitan (not only with TVPaint : web browser, emails... even using the finder was a nightmare).

I've completely re-installed my Mac and now everything is working fine.

What did you reinstall it to and how?

I've reset my Mac if you prefer, like if it was a new fresh computer, with nothing installed on it but the OS.

Yes, since it's a full reset you must backup your files first.
